So, Berlin allocated two Bergepanzer 2 armored recovery vehicles to Kyiv. As specified by the German government, now the Armed Forces of Ukraine will have five such ARVs.

The head of the Czech Defense Ministry, Yana Chernokhova, announced on Czech television that the republic’s authorities are ready to transfer heavy weapons to Ukraine.

“Today, additional aid to Ukraine has been approved. This includes heavy weapons,” he said, but did not disclose details for security reasons.

Italy also announced military support for Ukraine. According to Senator Adolfo Urso, the fifth aid package is being prepared for Kyiv, including machinery and equipment.

“During the hearings, the content of the fifth interdepartmental resolution, which would allow the transfer of military equipment, materials and equipment to Ukrainian state bodies, was thoroughly discussed,” Formiche quoted the lawmaker as saying.

Recall, on October 4, US President Joe Biden told his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, that the United States will provide Ukraine with a new $625 million aid package, which, in particular, includes the supply of four HIMARS MLRS.
