There is no more customs control at the border between Kherson and Crimea. The border is said to have acquired the status of an administrative one.
The head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, on Wednesday, October 5, approved the ratification of the “agreement” on the accession of the “DPR”, “LPR”, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions of Ukraine to Russia. Four documents were published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
In addition, Putin appointed Denis Pushilin as the interim head of the “DPR” and Leonid Pasechnik as the interim head of the “LPR”.
Yevgeny Balitsky was appointed acting “governor” of the Zaporozhye region, and Volodymyr Saldo – acting “governor” of the Kherson region.
According to Russian media, from now on there will be no more customs control at the border between Kherson region and Crimea. After the “accession” of the region to Russia, the border acquired the status of an administrative one.
It will be remembered that on October 3, the Federation Council of the Russian Federation supported the laws on the ratification of agreements with the “DNR”, “LNR”, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions on their accession to Russia.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky declared that Putin’s decrees on the recognition of “independent” Crimea, the so-called “LPR” and “DPR”, as well as the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, as well as the other decisions in accordance with these orders.
