The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to actively advance in several directions on the front, liberating settlements from the invaders.
Almost every day in the Kharkiv region, Ukrainian security forces discover Russian soldiers who have disappeared in the local forests. This was announced on Tuesday, October 4, by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Enin.
He explained that after the liberation of the settlements of the Kharkiv region, the police set up a network of checkpoints, which were difficult to pass.

“Almost every day, Russian servicemen lost in local forests are discovered. Because of hunger, they go to settlements where they are detained by representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs,” said Yenin.
He emphasized that the detention of soldiers of the enemy army is taking place in compliance with the requirements of the Geneva Conventions.
“We are replacing the exchange fund,” added the deputy minister.
He also mentioned that the police are also arresting the collaborators in the liberated territory.
“In one day, the number of detained potential collaborators sometimes reached 40 people. In the future, they will be transferred to the bodies of the Security Service of Ukraine,” the message said.
Recall that the Ukrainian flag was installed in the center of the liberated Liman.
