The bust, created by Estonian sculptor Matti Varik, is located in the center of the city of Kotka. It was transferred to the museum.

The last monument to Vladimir Lenin in Finland was dismantled and moved to the museum. It was announced on October 4 by broadcasting company Yle.

It is noted that the bust, created by Estonian sculptor Matti Varik, is located in the center of the Finnish city of Kotka. It was donated to the locality in 1979 by the sister city of Tallinn.

The head of the city planning department, Markku Hannonen, said that moving the monument was a rather complex technical operation. The bust was moved to the platform of a truck using a lifting device.

The head of the Kymenlaakso museum, Kirsi Niku, said the sculpture will be sent to them for safekeeping.

Remember that in August a monument was dismantled in Helsinki world peace, received as a gift from the USSR in 1989.
