Nearly 150 attacks on medical facilities in Ukraine were recorded, 73 people died.
The Director General of the World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus once again called on the Russian Federation to stop the war in Ukraine. The WHO chief wrote this on Twitter on April 19.
He stressed that attacks on health care facilities in Ukraine continue.
“So far, the WHO has confirmed 147 attacks, including 73 deaths and 53 injuries. War is not the solution. I once again call on the Russian Federation to stop the war,” Ghebreyesus said.

Earlier, the WHO chief said the attacks on medical facilities were a violation of international humanitarian law.
