The Employment Center said how many are unemployed in Ukraine

At the beginning of October, 260,000 unemployed Ukrainians were officially registered.

This year, more than 700 thousand people had the status of unemployed. This was announced by Lyubov Bershadskaya, director of the State Employment Center department, on the air of the Unified News telethon.

“More than 700,000 people had the status of unemployed. This is less than last year, but there are also objective reasons. Many people went abroad. There are a large number of territories that are not controlled by Ukraine. Although ‘t we do not stop serving the citizens if they apply to the territories where the war is going on, or temporarily occupied, but we will not completely find work there. Therefore, in nine months there are more than 700,000, and on October 1, it was 260,000,” she said.

We remind, earlier it was reported that unemployment in Ukraine reached a record level. Normally the unemployment rate is kept in the region of 9-10%, but because of the war it has risen to 35% and is not the limit.
