It is noted that the relevant draft laws have been submitted to the legislature by the President of the Russian Federation.
The documents define borders, citizenship issues, elections and administration in the occupied territories.
Thus, the borders of the territories of the “DPR”, “LPR”, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions are determined by the borders on the day of their formation and on the day they were accepted into the Russian Federation. At the same time, the borders of these regions, which are connected to the territory of Ukraine, “are the state borders of the Russian Federation.”
The agreements provide that from the date of admission to the Russian Federation of new subjects, citizens of Ukraine and stateless persons permanently residing on that day in the territory of the subjects are recognized as citizens of the Russian Federation, except for those who, within one month after this day, express their desire to keep their existing ones and (or) their minor children of another citizenship or remain stateless.
The state language of “DPR”, “LPR”, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions is Russian.
Recall that from September 23 to 27, the occupiers organized pseudo-referendums in the occupied territories of Kherson, Zaporozhye, Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
As a result, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the annexation of part of Ukraine.
