The second time the alarm went off at one in the morning, when Christine Lambrecht was already sleeping. But he still had to get out of bed.

During her stay in Odessa, German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht had to go down to the shelter twice. He told the NTV channel about his impressions here, adding that the planned trip to Nikolaev had to be postponed for security reasons.

The first time I had to go down to the Odessa shelter was on Saturday, October 1, at about 15:30 at a meeting with the Minister of Defense Alexei Reznikov. Colleagues spent 45 minutes in the bunker.

The second time the sirens alarmed the German minister was at one in the morning, already in bed. While in Odessa, for security reasons, he did without a mobile phone. Because of this, at one o’clock in the morning he fell into a deep sleep (as usual, he was still browsing on his mobile at this time). The sound of a siren woke him up – he had to go to the shelter, where at this time he stayed for about 20 minutes.

Recall that German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht arrived in Odessa, where she announced the start of deliveries of IRIS-T air defense systems.
