The President of Ukraine also appealed to the Russians, urging them to fight in their streets for their freedom, and not to go to war in Ukraine.
Our main task is to coordinate actions with partners in response to fake “referendums” organized by Russia and related threats, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an evening video message on Wednesday, September 28.
“Today is not 2014. Everyone understands everything. And they will certainly act. If someone there, in Russia, thinks that they will be able to “get away” with everything they do in the occupied territory, if someone there, in Russia, hopes that the world will betray its own values, afraid of the next Russian statements about annexation, then they are wrong in Russia. As for the situation at the front, it is understandable we have everything. Therefore, I repeat again, “Zelensky insisted.
The President of Ukraine thanked world leaders for their support in the fight against the aggressor and stressed that Ukraine will not tolerate Russia’s attempts to occupy any territory of our country.
Zelensky also addressed the Russians, in particular, those subject to mobilization.
“For those who understand Russian only. If you want to live, run. If you want to live, surrender. If you want to live, fight in YOUR streets for YOUR freedom. Everything is still taken from you. Or do any of Do you have oil towers? Do you have palaces? Do you have vineyards? Maybe a yacht? Or some banks? What are you fighting for? What you have is loans, food for the night and now – mobilization. Fight for your own! Do not interfere with our land with our soul and our culture. Glory to Ukraine!” Zelensky said.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky said: the war started by Russia will end only after Ukraine returns all the occupied territories. However, this could happen sooner if world leaders act more decisively.
