The outbreak of COVID-19 in Ukraine has already begun, and the disease will increase in the near future. This is the forecast of the head of the National Technical Group of Experts on Immunoprophylaxis (NTGEI) Fyodor Lapiy, writes Interfax-Ukraine.
“It can be predicted that in the near future we will see an increase in the disease, because we are not following many rules of “quarantine.” Actually, since February 24, we have stopped wearing masks, we are not keeping the our distance. With the return of children to school, we received another factor of the spread of the pathogen COVID-19. That means, in the near future we can only talk about the growth of COVID-19, “said by an expert.
Lapiy noted that “since the beginning of the large-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, much has been done to provide the regions and even the front-line zones with express tests.”
“However, in conditions of strong population migration, it is a problem to have clear statistics,” he said.
It will be remembered that recently, almost every day, an increase in the number of patients with the coronavirus has been reported.
