If the carrier takes on board a person who does not have the right to enter the EU through the Polish border checkpoint, he is obliged to return him at his own expense.
From Monday, September 26, entry into Poland through air and sea checkpoints will be restricted for Russian citizens. This was reported by Rzeczpospolita.
It was noted that restrictions for Russians apply at all checkpoints at the EU’s external border. If the carrier takes on board a person who does not have the right to enter the EU through the Polish border checkpoint, he is obliged to return him at his own expense.
Earlier, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Poland, by his order, prohibited citizens of the Russian Federation from entering the territory of Poland for business, sports, tourism or cultural purposes by land. The ban began on September 19.
At the same time, the “mutually agreed justified exceptions for dissidents, humanitarian cases, family members, residence permit holders” remain to provide an opportunity for opponents of the Vladimir Putin regime to leave the territory of the Russian Federation.
Recall that Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and Poland have closed entry to their territory for Russians, including those with Schengen visas issued by third countries.
