It was reported that all borscht ingredients went up in price, except cabbage.
Meat prices rose the most (by 21.33%), potatoes (+14.53%), carrots (+13.39%) and sour cream (+9.11%).
The only vegetable whose price did not rise, but even decreased, was cabbage (-5.38%). Prices for beet almost did not rise (+3.01%).
BRDO said the market is saturated with products that manufacturers cannot export today, which in the short term will have a positive impact on price dynamics, but in the long run inflationary pressure will increase.
Earlier it was reported that the war in Ukraine caused an increase in world food prices. Their value in March reached an all -time high.
