Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal met in New York, where the UN General Assembly session is taking place, with British Prime Minister Liz Truss. He announced this on Telegram.
“We continue to develop our strategic partnership: we discussed the supply of weapons, preparations for the warming period and the continuation of Ukraine,” he said.
According to Shmygal, the UK is ready to provide financial support to Ukraine for gas purchases and to help attract British businesses to the development of Ukrainian gas production.
The parties also agreed to establish a working group to prepare for the Ukraine Restoration Conference, which will be held next year in the UK.
“Thank you to the British friends for the political support and practical help,” summed up the head of the Cabinet.
