They help the enemy carry out repressions against the local pro-Ukrainian population. For this they were “famous” up to 15 years in prison.
Evidence of voluntary cooperation with the enemy of eight more officers in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region was collected. This was reported by the SBU press center.
In particular, the pseudo-position of “acting head of the administration of the city of Lisichansk of the LPR” was taken by a local resident, who, from the beginning of the Russian invasion, “out of ideological convictions” went on the enemy’s side. According to the investigation, since 2014, the perpetrator fought in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the ranks of the so-called “People’s Militia of the LPR”, for which he was accused in criminal proceedings and placed on the wanted list. Since then, he has been hiding from justice in territory not controlled by Ukraine.
Since February, he has been an active participant in the battles as part of the occupying forces. Helped the enemy capture Severodonetsk, Rubizhne, Popasnaya and Lisichansk.
The post was seen as a reward for devotion and now, in his new status, imitates the “establishment of a peaceful life” in the city. In fact, due to the hostile attitude of the locals to the “new government”, his task was to launch a repressive machine to “contain the situation.”
Another local official received a “promotion”: he changed the position of an ordinary administrator in the TsNAP of the Belokurakinsky village council to a managerial one. And now he heads the so-called “general administration department of the Belokurakinsky district of the “LNR”.
Four other collaborators found themselves in the “prosecutor” position. They have all been able to prove their loyalty to the occupiers by working in the field of justice of the L/DNR terrorist organizations.
In particular, the illegally created “Popasnyansky district prosecutor’s office of the LPR” is headed by a resident of Donetsk region, who previously held the position of “deputy prosecutor of Alchevsk.” Ukrainian law enforcement has already placed him on the wanted list for participation in a terrorist organization.
A 30-year-old resident of Luhansk, a former “investigator of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the LNR”, came to head the “Nopskovskiy district rokuratura” organized by the occupiers.
A 37-year-old resident of Luhansk, who managed to work as a “department head” in the so-called “Prosecutor General of the LPR”, became the acting prosecutor of the Starobelsky district of the “LPR”.
Since 2017, another collaborator has held the pseudo position of “Senior Assistant Prosecutor of the Krasnodon City District Prosecutor’s Office.” Now the attacker works for the occupiers in the status of “assistant prosecutor” in the so-called “prosecutor’s office of the Stanichno-Lugansk region of the LPR.”
All of them work in the illegal “law enforcement agencies” of the Russian occupation administration, where they introduce the policy of the Russian occupiers in the temporarily occupied territories of the Luhansk region, and persecute Ukrainian patriots.
In addition, the SBU exposed a 45-year-old resident of Stanitsa Luganskaya, who worked as “head of the operational department of the Stanichno-Lugansk regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR,” and a 42-year-old – old native of Rubizhny, holding the position of “head of the criminal investigation department of the Troitsk regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.”
Before the start of the large-scale invasion of Russia, both collaborators quit the internal affairs bodies of Ukraine, but with the arrival of the invaders, they decided to return to the profession.
They help the enemy carry out repressions against the local pro-Ukrainian population.
Based on the materials of the investigation, all the defendants were informed of the suspicion under Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaborative activity). They face up to 15 years in prison.
Recall that in Volchansk, Kharkiv region, the chief forester was detained, who, during the temporary occupation of the city, agreed to cooperate with the invaders. He organized the harvesting of timber for the construction of forts and dugouts of the conquerors.
