Law enforcement officers have exposed drug dealers trying to transport a shipment of “goods” across the border by water.
Smuggling of psychotropic drugs worth more than UAH 37 million was blocked in Vinnytsia region. This was reported by the press service of the SBU.
“According to the investigation, the smuggling was organized by three residents of the Kiev region. They tried to organize the illegal movement of drugs from the borders of the Vinnitsa region to neighboring Moldova. The smugglers specialized in the substance of PVP, one of the various synthetic psychostimulants, its circulation is prohibited,” said the SBU.
It was reported that law enforcement officials exposed drug dealers while trying to transport a shipment of “goods” across the border by water.
While the investigative intelligence services were established, the defendants received merchandise for sale from their accomplices throughout the country. For this, a network of hidden warehouses was used, and small remote-controlled boats were used for transportation, the SBU press service said.
Recall that the infamous supplier of cocaine for the Ukrainian elite, Yuriy Chernetsky, was assigned a measure of restraint in the form of detention with the possibility of bail.
