The football players admitted that at first they did not want to join the army, because they did not have any ability to fight.

Football club Prykarpattya from Ivano-Frankivsk was almost completely sworn in and joined the ranks of the Armed Forces, according to a report by Football 1 TV channel.

The football players admitted that at first they did not want to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine, because they were afraid of becoming a burden to the army, incapable of fighting.

Then a military commissioner came to them and explained that they would be instructed, prepared, shown how to defend Ukraine. They consulted – and 14 players and coaches were sworn in by the military.

It will be recalled that Dynamo Kiev fired the football player of the youth team upon learning that the father of 18-year-old Artur Uvarov was an enemy of the country and part of the power structures of the terrorist organization “LPR”.
