The next morning, firefighters discovered the body of a man who fell underwater while in a car in Bettolella, part of the municipality of Senigallia.
Among the four missing is a child. The boy was with his mother in a car that was blocked by water. Rescuers admitted that the woman got out of the car with the child in her hand, but it was crushed again. Firefighters rescued him that night, but the child was never found.
It was earlier reported that in Pakistan during the day at least 54 people died as a result of floods caused by heavy monsoon rains.
