The UN is working with the Ukrainian authorities to support winter and protection programs, as well as in any way that helps reduce the effects of the conflict.

In the coming winter, Ukraine may face electricity shortages. This, as reported by the press service of the UN Secretary General, said the representative of the UN Secretary General, Stéphane Dujarric.

“As for the winter, of course we are concerned about energy access problems for a large number of households, which will have devastating consequences,” said Dujarric.

The representative of the Secretary General emphasized that the UN is working with the Ukrainian authorities to support winter programs and protection for the population, as well as in any areas that help mitigate the consequences of the conflict.

Earlier it was reported that, according to intelligence, the Russian Federation is preparing new provocations at ZNPP and wants to create an energy crisis in Ukraine.
