Volodymyr Kohutyak, Vice-President of the Union of Ukrainians in France, announced the attack on Ukrainian women.
The representative of the Association of Ukrainians in France said that the attack took place at 22.30, in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin
“So far, the culprits have not been found!” – said Kogutyak.
According to the French publication Monaco-Matin, Ukrainian women Alina and her mother Elena, while walking along the coast, opened a video clip with Ukrainian music sent to them on their phones.
“This is Ukrainian music. The lyrics say: “The world would be better without the Russian army,” said Elena.
A group of four responded to the music. “One of the men ran towards us. He hit me in the face, I fell to the ground, and he kicked me. Then he hit my mother three times,” Alina recalls.
Elena’s nose was broken because of the attack. Alina has severe pain in her legs and head. They were taken to the hospital.
Witnesses say the attacker was Russian.
