The mouth of the Donetsk region is still waiting for our flag, and it is inevitable – the Ukraine always returns. We show it well. The entire Donetsk region will be free, will be safe and happy again, as it should be in Ukraine, it should be everywhere in our land,” he said in a video message .
Zelensky noted that the defenders of Ukraine will restore peace to every corner of our state. “There will be peace, peace goes with the Ukrainian flag, with our defenders,” he said.
Addressing the residents of Dnipro, Zelensky said that “since 2014, and since February 24, your city has done so much for the Ukrainian defense that the history of our victory coincides with the history of the Dnieper, it is absolutely appropriate.”
“The health and lives of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers were saved in the Dnieper. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians received asylum and aid in the Dnieper during the war years. The front always felt and experienced the support of the Dnieper people . I thank you all for this! – a quick victory,” said the president.
Recall that during the counter-offensive in the Kharkiv region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated several large cities – Balakleya, Kupyansk and Izyum.
The liberation of the region continues towards Volchansk, along the way the Armed Forces of Ukraine have taken control of several villages. Information appeared on the network that the invaders announced an evacuation from the city, and Russian troops also left it.
