Zelensky noted that in some villages of the region, measures are being taken to check and ensure the security of the territory.
“We are gradually taking control of new settlements – we are returning the Ukrainian flag and protection for our people everywhere,” the president said.
He added that National Police units are returning to the liberated settlements.
Zelensky also asked residents to report to Ukrainian law enforcement officials any known information about the crimes of the occupiers.
According to the head of state, heavy fighting also continues in Donbass and the south of the country.
Zelensky also turned to bloggers, who sometimes rush to announce the results of some active actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the front line. He urged them not to rush the messages, and not to complicate the tasks of the Ukrainian army with their haste.
