The Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Andrey Rudenko in an interview with RIA Novosti previously said that Russia may introduce such a proposal in response to the introduction of a visa regime by Ukraine. According to him, citizens of Ukraine can enter Russia without a visa until January 1, 2023.
“Until January 1, 2023, when the Russian-Ukrainian agreement on visa-free travel will finally cease to operate, citizens of Ukraine can continue to enter Russia without a visa,” the official said.
It should be noted that according to KIIS surveys, more than 90% of Ukrainians have a negative attitude towards Russia, and only 2% have a positive attitude.
In addition, more than 80% of Ukrainians are against any territorial concessions to the Russian Federation to end the war as soon as possible.
