The length of the pipeline for oil transportation is 600 kilometers from the Volyn region to Gdansk.
Ukraine plans to deliver 2 million tons of vegetable oil per year through a cross-border pipeline to Poland. The Minister of Agrarian Policy Mykola Solsky said this in an interview with Ukrinform.

It was initially planned that the length of the pipeline for oil transportation would be 600 kilometers from the Yagodina district in the Volyn region to Gdansk.
Solsky emphasized that Ukraine needs to create alternative powerful logistics export routes. Since a lot of oilseed is processed in the country, such a pipeline is one of the options.
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy has been dealing with this issue for several months. In particular, they conduct analysis and consult with the business.
“The construction will take less time than the coordination of all the documents. The pipeline will have several hundred kilometers, and along this distance it is necessary to take into account the interests of many communities, people. More we are concerned about this rather than the construction itself,” emphasizes Solsky.
According to him, first of all, sunflower oil is planned to be delivered through the pipeline, but there is also rapeseed and soybean oil.
Construction costs will be announced in the next one to two months. The final cost depends largely on the specific route and terrain.
As for funding, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy expects it to be comprehensive from various sources. This issue will be discussed in Brussels at a meeting of the ministers of agricultural policy of the EU countries.
It was previously reported that Ukraine and Poland have agreed to build an oil pipeline. The agriculture departments of the two countries signed a corresponding memorandum.
