Ombudsman Dmitry Lubinets said a forensic medical examination would confirm the cause of Paul Ury’s death, but believed the Briton’s death was violent.
After a month and a half of negotiations, the Russian side returned the body of the murdered Briton Paul Ury. This was announced by Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmitry Lubinets on his Telegram channel.
“In July, we saw the statements of Russian propagandists about the death of Paul Ury “as a result of illness and stress,” and today, September 7, we received a mutilated body,” the report said.
As mentioned by Lubinets, the forensic medical examination will finally confirm the cause of death of Paul Ury, but he believes that the death of the British was violent.
“As an ombudsman, today I can responsibly say that such a death was violent. A person simply cannot end such torture. I saw a photo of the dead body and there is no doubt,” he stressed.
Remember that Paul Ury is in Ukraine as a volunteer of a humanitarian mission. In April, Russia took him, put him in a prison in the territory of the so-called “DNR”. The death of the Briton was reported on July 15 by “ombudsman” Daria Morozova. According to him, the cause of death was said to be many illnesses in captivity.
