President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the liberation of several settlements in the Kharkiv region. He said this in his video message on Wednesday night, September 7.
At the same time, Zelensky did not specify which arrangements he was talking about.
“This week there is good news from the Kharkiv region. And I think every citizen is proud of our soldiers. Now is not the time to name those or other settlements where the Ukrainian flag is returning. But it’s time to thank the 25th Airborne brigade, the 92nd separate mechanized brigade and the 80th air assault brigade for the bravery and heroism shown during combat missions,” Zelensky said.
He also thanked the 406th separate artillery brigade for very successful hits on the concentration areas of the invaders in the south and the 60th separate infantry brigade, which continued to advance the Ukrainian positions.
“Each victory of our military in one direction or another changes the general situation on the entire front in favor of Ukraine. The harder it is for the invaders, the more losses they have, the better the positions of our defenders in Donbass . even, the more reliable the defense of Zaporozhye and Nikolaev, cities in the Dnipropetrovsk region, the sooner we can liberate the Azov region and the entire south,” Zelensky stressed.
He also noted that the successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine re-fund the exchange and help improve Ukraine’s position on the issue of prisoner exchange.
