On the night of September 7, Russian troops shelled the Nikopol district of the Dnepropetrovsk region. This was announced by the head of the regional military administration, Valentin Reznichenko.
“The enemy held the Nikopol region at gunpoint. It was covered from Gradov, mortars and heavy artillery. He hit Nikopol and the Marganets community. No one was killed or injured. The extent of the damage is being investigated,” he said.
The head of the OVA added that in the evening firefighters extinguished the fire at an oil depot in Krivoy Rog, which occurred after a Russian missile hit. The fire fight lasted for more than 16 hours.
Reznichenko also stressed that on Wednesday, the Ukrainian military shot down another Russian reconnaissance drone in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
