More than 2 million tons of agricultural products were exported from Ukraine as part of the Black Sea Grain Initiative. This is reported by Interfax-Ukraine in connection with the UN.
The Joint Coordinating Center (JCC) authorized six vessels to leave Ukrainian ports on Tuesday, August 6, as part of the Black Sea Grain Initiative. Ships that left the ports on Tuesday totaled 87,442 tons of grain and other products.
“On September 5, the total tons of grain and other food products exported from three Ukrainian ports was 2,125,530 tons. In general, the movement of 197 vessels was allowed – 107 arrived at Ukrainian ports, and 90 are leaving them,” – noted in the message.
It will be remembered that on September 4, it was reported that 13 ships left from the ports of Odessa, Chornomorsk and Yuzhny – this is the largest caravan of ships since the beginning of the “grain initiative”.
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, in August Ukraine exported more than 4.5 million tons of agricultural products – the maximum since the beginning of the war.
