Mariupol children attend their native schools online

4,700 children began studying in the city’s educational institutions. Of these, 68% are abroad and 24% – in the temporarily occupied territories and Russia.

Mariupol children in different countries continue to study online in their native schools. Online learning has started in schools No. 10, 29, 47, 48, 54 and 66. The corresponding initiative of the mayor of Mariupol Vadym Boychenko was supported by the Ministry of Education and Science and the leadership of the Donetsk Regional Educational Office. This was reported by the Mariupol City Council.

“4,700 children started studying in the institutions. Of these, 68% were abroad and 24% were in the temporarily occupied territories and Russia. Most of the students were in Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic 250 teachers who previously worked in these educational institutions teach disciplines. 31% of them now work from abroad, 69% – from the controlled territory of Ukraine.

It was noted that the initiative allows the children of Mariupol to receive a quality Ukrainian education in their native institutions, regardless of the place of residence. All graduates will receive official graduation documents.
