On Thursday, April 14, Russian troops fired on the western to northern part of the Donetsk region. Three civilians were killed in the attack. This was announced by the head of the region Pavel Kirilenko.
“As a result of the Russian attack and airstrikes in the Donetsk region, 3 more civilians were killed, 7 were injured,” the report said.
According to the governor, in the morning the Russians launched three airstrikes on Velikaya Novoselka, two residents were injured. Civilian infrastructures were also damaged.
In addition, Zarechnoye, Ugledar and Bogorodichnoye underwent shelling. In Zarechny one person was killed and two were injured, in Ugledar – one dead and wounded, in Zarechny – one dead.
Overall, since the beginning of the war, 241 people have died in the region, 780 have been injured.
At the same time, Kirilenko informed that it is possible to clarify information about an injured man in Volnovakha, but it is impossible to establish the total number of victims in Volnovakha and Mariupol.
The head of the region states that the evacuation of the civilian population is continuing in the region. In particular, on April 14, 46 people were removed from Ugledar, including six children. The officer called on the people to leave the communities under enemy fire.
