The Russian occupiers placed their military bases in 5 schools in the center of the occupied Melitopol, Mayor Ivan Fedorov said on the air of the national telethon.
“September 1, like this year, has never happened in Melitopol. All the schools are surrounded by the military, the entrance to the schools is through metal detectors, parents are hardly allowed in. Five schools in Melitopol, where the military bases, barracks and Rashist ammunition depots are in the center of the city,” said Fedorov.
The mayor also noted that in the Russian Federation they announced strikes on educational institutions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they are preparing provocations to cover up low turnout in schools.
He also added that children for the most part do not go to school, but the Russians put pressure on their parents, threatening fines and removal of parental rights.
Recall that Fedorov said earlier that the occupying authorities banned the import of medicines and essential goods into the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporozhye region.
