125 km of roads removed in three cities in the Kyiv region

To ensure the passage and delivery of goods to the liberated territory, two crossings were also opened.

For nine days working in the hero cities of Bucha, Irpen and Borodyanka of the Kiev region, road workers cleared 125 km of roads. This was announced on Thursday, April 14, by the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov.

“We were able to clean up the main routes that were destroyed and cluttered by the Russian occupiers. … We were collecting garbage, destroyed enemy equipment, vehicles,” he specified.

According to the head of the department, work continues on international and regional roads:

  • M-06 Kyiv-Chop-102.6 km;

  • M-07 Kyiv-Kovel-Yagodin-14 km;

  • R -30 Irpin Approach – 2.8 km;

  • Т-10-01Vorzel-Zabuchye-/ Kyiv-Chop/-4.1 km.

Kubrakov noted that two crossings have already been opened to ensure the passage and delivery of goods in the liberated territory: across the Irpen River in the village of Romanovka and across the Zdvizh River in the village of Katyuzhanka. Six more crossings are underway.

Recall that the restoration of road communication is carried out in the regions of Kiev, Chernihiv and Sumy.
