In recent weeks, the sounds of explosions have been heard almost every day in the occupied Crimea and Sevastopol, which the Russian authorities explained by the shooting of “Ukrainian drones” and “air defense work.”
Initial damage from explosions at Russian military facilities in the Saki and Dzhankoy regions of Crimea was estimated at 700 million rubles. This was announced on Friday, September 2, by the head of the occupying power of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, on the air of the Russian state television channel in Crimea, Millet, reports Krym.Realii.
“The total amount of damage that we sent (to receive a subsidy) to the government of the Russian Federation is more than 700 million rubles. The money for support will be allocated,” said Aksyonov.
At the same time, he clarified that the number is not yet final and the commission is still assessing the damage and counting.
In total, according to Aksenov, more than four thousand objects were damaged.
It should be noted that the air defense of the occupiers of Crimea is headed by former Ukrainian military officer Denis Podobedov, who defected to the Russian side in 2014.
It will be remembered that the permanent representative of the President in Crimea, Tamila Tasheva, said that the number of residents of the temporarily occupied peninsula, who openly show support for Ukraine, is increasing.
