A U.S. Department of Defense official says other Black Sea ships operating near the Moskva cruiser have moved away from the northern region where they operate.

Russian ships operating north of the Black Sea near the cruiser Moskva are further away from the Ukrainian coast. This was reported by CNN according to a U.S. Department of Defense official.

“We noticed that other Black Sea ships running near the Moscow cruiser or in the northern part of the Black Sea all moved south after the damage Moscow received. So, all of them, all North ships Black Sea has now migrated from the northern regions where they operate, ”the official said.

Recall that in the United States it is assumed that the ship has maintained buoyancy. Earlier, Operational Command South said the cruiser Moskva was hit by Neptune missiles, after which it received major damage and a fire broke out. According to him, other ships tried to help the Moscow crew, but due to the explosion and storm, he capsized on his side and began to sink.
