The air defense in the past day destroyed a Russian helicopter and two enemy drones. This was reported by the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It was noted that on August 31, Air Force anti-aircraft missile units destroyed an enemy helicopter (probably Ka-52) in the eastern direction. Two UAVs of the operational-tactical level were also destroyed.
During the day, Air Force aviation made more than 70 sorties in different directions. Crews of fighter, bomber, and attack aircraft conducted missile and bomb strikes against ground targets of Russian troops.
Enemy ammunition depots, company platoons and forts, armored combat vehicles, anti-aircraft missile system positions, multiple launch rocket systems, as well as Russian soldiers were reported.
Recall that on the night of August 24, Ukrainian defenders shot down a Russian attack helicopter Ka-52.
It should be noted that according to the General Staff, from February 24 to September 1, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 205 enemy helicopters.
