Hidden mobilization has reached major Russian cities – we are talking about Moscow and St. Petersburg. Thus, Russian war criminals are planning to strengthen the defense of the temporarily occupied Crimea with new “cannon fodder”.

This was reported by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

According to intelligence, the military commissariats of the Moscow and Leningrad regions, including the capital of Russia itself and St. Petersburg, received instructions on the mass conscription of local residents for military service.

According to the GUR, Muscovites and Petersburgers called up during covert mobilization will be completed by military units stationed in the Crimea.

In addition, in order to replenish the military units on the occupied peninsula, General of the Army Alexander Dvornikov, commander of the Southern Military District, decided to send 1,200 conscripts to Crimea.

Servicemen are not offered to sign a contract, which may indicate cost savings and unwillingness to pay all the allowances determined by Russian legislation.

1,200 soldiers will pay about 5,000 rubles ($82).

Savings of state Russian funds will also take place due to non-payment of compensation in the event of the death of military personnel, because Russia denies the participation of conscripts in hostilities.
