Natural gas for Ukraine for the heating season will also be purchased for credit.
On August 30, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the draft law No. 7681 “On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2022” as a whole. 226 people’s deputies voted for the bill. This was announced by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak in his Telegram channel.
The adopted document provides for additional expenses to the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine for the purchase of natural gas for the heating season 2022-2023 under the general fund in the amount of UAH 12.7 billion. The purchase of “blue fuel” will be financed at the expense of credit funds. According to Zheleznyak, this money was allocated by the Canadian government.
Recall that on August 28, the head of NJSC Naftogaz, Yuriy Vitrenko, said that Ukrainians need to prepare for the winter, since the temperature in the rooms will be at the level of 17-18 degrees Celsius, which is about four degrees below normal. Citizens of the gas workers are advised to stock up on warm clothes and blankets in case the temperature outside drops to minus 10 degrees Celsius.
