In September, citizens of Ukraine will receive new payments for electricity.
This is stated in the resolution of the National Commission, which carries out state regulation in the field of energy and utilities.
They will indicate the initial and final displays of electrical energy metering devices, on the basis of which accruals are made.
The NEURC resolution was adopted in August, but consumers will notice part of the changes from September.
This is done to provide household consumers with clear and correct information about charges for consumed electricity.
According to the consumer, it is possible to use electrical energy without installing a meter, which may affect the content of payments from September of this year. To do this, you must conclude an appropriate contract with the electricity supplier.
This possibility is provided for performing temporary work for up to 30 days, if the consumer does not have the technical ability to install a meter or limit the capacity.
In addition, in case of problems with the electricity supplier, the decree introduces a simplified procedure for changing it. This will allow the consumer to make such a transition in three days (previously – 21 days).
Meanwhile, the EU calls for limiting the price of gas and separating it from the price of electricity.
Belgian energy minister Tinne van der Streten said the move is mandatory for Europe to pass through the autumn-winter period.
Natural gas is still widely used for electricity generation. Since gas prices have risen, electricity has also become more expensive in Europe. For example, on August 26, the exchange price of gas in Europe reached 3,517 dollars. This is the highest price ever recorded.
