In Kyiv, a 23-year-old man was exposed and reported on suspicion of illegally storing narcotic and psychotropic substances in large quantities for the purpose of further sale. This was announced on August 29 by the Kyiv prosecutor’s office.
The investigation revealed that the attacker received drugs through post offices and sold them through so-called “bookmarks”.
So, in the course of the operational information exercise, a man was detained “hot” during the execution of “bookmarks” on him on the territory of the Desnyansky district of Kyiv. During the arrest, 10 bundles containing the psychotropic substance PVP were confiscated from him.
In addition, more than 5 kg of narcotic and psychotropic substances, namely 3.8 kg of PVP, 1.4 kg of amphetamine, 52 ecstasy tablets, cannabis, a large number of IP packages, were obtained from the car in which the drug dealer was traveling and in his place of residence for packing medicines, as well as scales for weighing them.
The total value of seized narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances exceeded UAH 2 million.
Currently, the attacker is reported as a suspect and a measure of detention in the form of detention without the right to bail is chosen.
Pre-trial investigation continues in criminal proceedings.
The exposure of criminal activity was carried out by prosecutors together with investigators of SV Desnyansky UP GU NP in Kyiv and the UBN in Kyiv DBN NPU.
Earlier, law enforcement officials detained drug-dealing spouses in Kyiv, who were daily sending drugs through the postal service across Ukraine.
