The military urged Ukrainians to remain silent on the issue of the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson region.
Enemy forces are very strong in the Kherson region, so it is too early to rest. Ukrainians should remain silent on the issue of operations in the South. This was said by the head of the Joint Coordinating Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, Natalya Gumenyuk, at a briefing at the Ukraine Media Center on Monday, August 29.
“The enemy’s forces are powerful enough, they have been moving there for a long time, collecting military reserves, equipment … But our previous measures, what we call fire control on the enemy’s logistics, are bore fruit,” the representative of the press center said.
According to him, warehouses with ammunition, the concentration of military equipment, and air defense installations were destroyed.
“All this weakens the enemy unconditionally. But we do not value empty hopes, realizing that the enemy is powerful enough. And even the fact that he has moral destabilization in his troops we can use in our favor. But it is too early to rest,” he added.
According to Gumenyuk, any military operation requires silence. He emphasized that it is “absolutely wrong” that any news from the front causes chaos.
“Currently, in the conditions of the information war, one must be aware that any action, even if it is very inspired, must take place and have a logical conclusion. Only then can they be effective. Therefore, there is news, it inspired everyone, now we have to be patient and understand the sequence of actions of military units,” summed up the representative of the press center.
Earlier, in Donbass, Ukrainian soldiers of Stugna destroyed enemy personnel with ammunition.
