In the Kherson region on the territory of the temporarily occupied Nova Kakhovka today, September 28, explosions were heard.
Photos and videos of the aftermath of the shelling, taken by local residents, have already appeared on social networks. According to their reports, in Novaya Kakhovka they got into the base of infidels on the territory of the former Sokol instrument-making plant, which existed from 1960 to 2013 and gave its name to the area located around the city.
Local residents report that five shells hit the plant.
The defeat of the base of Russian infidels in Nova Kakhovka has been confirmed. The civilian population was not affected. The losses of the occupier are being specified, writes the Telegram channel “Operational Armed Forces of Ukraine”.
According to the people’s deputy Alexei Goncharenko, there was a hit in the Sokol plant, as well as in the area of the hydroelectric power station, where a fire broke out.
