Derailment of freight cars occurred in the Ternopil region.

The accident on the railway occurred on the section Podvolochisk – Maksimovka (Lviv railway). Therefore, a change in the route is expected and, accordingly, a delay in a number of trains. This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.

The delay in the schedule concerns flights No. 706 Przemysl – Kyiv (to be sent via Zdolbunov), No. 120 Lviv – Zaporozhye (turns to Krasnoye) and No. 55 Kyiv – Yasinya. There are also changes in the schedule of commuter trains – flights No. 6207/6208 will follow to / from Maksimovka instead of Podvolochisk.

Railway workers added that on the section from Ternopil to Khmelnytsky, Zhmerinka, Vinnitsa and Kazatin, traffic for the period of restoration work will be limited for all trains in the Lviv direction.

Ukrzaliznytsia is already organizing additional electric trains on the Ternopil-Krasne section and Pesa railbuses from Khmelnitsky to Shepetivka. In addition, a number of evening trains will follow the route through Berdichev – Shepetovka – Zdolbuniv and will be delayed on the way.

Recall that in July, Ukrzaliznytsia urgently changed the routes of trains heading to Poltava. Railway workers resorted to such actions due to technical problems.
