In Prague, Dmitry Kuleba will take part in an informal meeting of EU foreign ministers on August 30-31.
On behalf of President Volodymyr Zelensky, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba will visit Sweden and the Czech Republic next week to consolidate international support for Ukraine and increase sanctions pressure on Russia, the Foreign Ministry said.
Kuleba will arrive in Stockholm on August 29, where he will be received by Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson, will hold talks with Foreign Minister Ann Linde, and meet with the leadership of the Swedish Riksdag Parliament and political parties in Sweden.
The main topics of the talks were countering Russian aggression, additional military, financial and humanitarian support for Ukraine, the path to our state’s membership in the EU and the restoration of Ukraine.
In Prague, Dmitry Kuleba will take part in an informal meeting of EU foreign ministers on August 30-31, the main topic of which will be visa restrictions for Russian citizens and the EU’s eighth sanctions package against Russia .
Separately, the minister will hold several bilateral meetings with colleagues from the Czech Republic, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Georgia, Moldova and Cyprus. He will also participate in the Forum 2000 International Conference “Current Challenges for Democracy: How Should We Respond?”
The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry will hold bilateral meetings with Czech officials – the head of the Senate, Milos Vystrcil, and the chairman of the Chamber of Deputies, Marketa Pekareva Adamova.
Recall that the foreign ministers of the countries of the European Union next week, in an informal meeting in Prague, are preparing to support the suspension of the visa facilitation agreement with Russia, which will limit the ability of Russians to travel to the countries of the EU.
