The full-scale war of Russia against Ukraine continues. At the same time, the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) believes that the results of the military operations of the army of war criminals in Russia are so insignificant that the Ministry of Defense of the terrorist country is increasingly feeling the need to find at least some arguments to maintain its reputation.
ISW analysts point out that over the past 39 days, Russian troops have seized control of the territory, which is approximately 1% of the territory liberated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the occupiers after mid-March.
ISW indicated that Russian attacks after the end of the operational pause on July 16 gave them control of approximately 451 sq. km of Ukrainian territory, while compared to March 21 (the conditional date for the maximum advance of Russian troops), our defenders regained control of approximately 45 thousand square meters. km.
At the same time, even in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, the Russians fail to establish reliable control due to the resistance of the local population and the partisan movement.
