Russia lost more than 80,000 war criminals in the war against Ukraine. This figure was announced by British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace in an interview with the Evening Standard.
He clarified that we are talking about the dead, wounded and deserters. For comparison, over the ten years of the war in Afghanistan, the Russians lost 15 thousand soldiers. Wallace added that Moscow is now in an “extremely fragile position” and the progress of its army can be measured “in meters per week, not in miles.”
We agree that Russian losses, when combined with deaths, injuries and desertions, are more than 80 thousand people from their armed forces. That’s 80,000 in six months versus the 15,000 they lost in ten years in Afghanistan,” Wallace said.
Answering the question of whether Kyiv will be able to return the territories occupied by Russia, Wallace noted that Ukraine is moving towards this.
Recall that on August 25, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine indicated that in 183 days of a full-scale war, the army of war criminals in Russia lost 45,850 people killed.
