The work of medical institutions is questionable, and meanwhile, outbreaks of intestinal diseases are possible due to de-energized refrigeration equipment.
There is no electricity supply in the Kherson region and, accordingly, there is no central water supply and communications. This was announced by the first deputy head of the Kherson Regional Council, Yuri Sobolevsky.
“Kherson region without electricity supply. Therefore, there is no central water supply and no communication. What does this mean? In addition to the obvious inconveniences at home, the work of medical institutions is questionable … It is difficult to say what condition the emergency generators are in and whether there is a fuel supply for them,” Sobolevsky wrote on the TG channel.
The deputy added that the spread of intestinal diseases is possible due to de-energized refrigeration equipment.
“The humanitarian nightmare caused by the work is only getting worse. In addition, unplugged freezers in retail outlets can lead to food spoilage, which can cause outbreaks of infectious intestinal diseases,” the report said.
Lack of communication creates an information vacuum.
“And along with these problems, there is an information vacuum, because without communication people have no chance to receive objective information. The orcs said they would continue the power supply for two days. If the deadline will be delayed, the situation will worsen every day, “said Sobolevsky.
But the Kherson region resisted occupation. In particular, in Tavriysk, Kakhovka and Nova Kakhovka, on the eve of the Independence Day of Ukraine, postcards appeared with congratulations from the Popular Resistance of Ukraine.
