Ukraine needs a victory that will forever undermine Russia’s will to fight, the head of the National Security and Defense Council has insisted.
Ukrainians need to prepare for a long battle, because the war with the Russian Federation will not be easy. This was announced on Radio Liberty on August 24 by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Alexei Danilov.
“War is a difficult thing. We have to be patient, it will not be easy. If someone thinks that we have passed some kind of turning point, the Rubicon, then everything will be “like clockwork “, then this, unfortunately, will not happen. We will have a big war in this country (Russia) and we have to make a lot of effort so that the victory is ours,” he stressed.
Danilov noted that Ukrainians need to prepare for a protracted war. According to him, Ukraine needs a victory that will forever discourage Russia’s desire to fight.
“We need a victory that will break the back of that creature that sits on the territory of the Russian Federation and continues to invade foreign territories … If we don’t do it now, it will be a postponed war,” added head of the National Security and Defense Council.
Earlier, Danilov said that the result of Russia’s war against Ukraine is the decolonization of the aggressor state.
