“We have an absolute lack of our own reserves,” said the German foreign minister.
Germany cannot supply Ukraine with the requested amount of weapons due to its shortage, German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock said in an interview with ZDF.

“Further delivery of weapons from Germany will not be an easy task. The reason is the insufficient equipment of our own troops,” the report said.
“Unfortunately, our situation is such that we have a complete lack of our own reserves,” Burbock said.
According to him, the German defense industry needs to produce equipment specifically for Ukraine.
The minister noted the need for new arms supplies to Ukraine in the fall, in particular, in the near future, Germany will transfer the Irris-T air defense system to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Burbock also acknowledged the deterioration of Germany’s relations with the countries of Eastern Europe and the Baltic States, to which Germany must transfer new weapons to replace the old ones, which the countries transferred to Ukraine. He noted that the delivery of heavy weapons from the FRG to Eastern Europe was “unquestionable.”
Recall that a month ago, Germany published a list of weapons transferred to Ukraine. Since then, there has been little progress in the supply of arms.
