The group consists of residents of Kiev aged 35-45 years. A group of traitors is led by a woman.

Counterintelligence officers of the SBU exposed the intelligence network of the Russian special services, which engaged in reconnaissance and subversive activities and transmitted to the Russian military data on the location and strength of the Ukrainian defense forces on the eve of February 24. This was reported on August 25 by the SBU press center.

After the first agent of the network was exposed in March, the SBU conducted a special operation, as a result of which they identified all the members of this group. They are residents of the capital at the age of 35-45 years.

It turned out that his main manager was a woman from Kiev, who was recruited by the special services of the aggressor country during trips to the Russian Federation.

So, the woman built a network of agents and went into waiting mode for further instructions.

A few months before the raid, agents became more active in the information field. They began to spread pro-Russian videos and publications on social networks.

In particular, they created publics, accounts, channels and communities that widely imitated anti-Ukrainian fakes, glorified the “world of Russia” and called for the seizure of state power in Ukraine.

On the eve of February 24, the woman was ordered to collect intelligence about the affairs and defense of Kyiv, in particular: the deployment / movement of military personnel and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; the state of security of military facilities; civil infrastructure facilities in energy, transportation, finance, communication, health care, etc.

The Agency immediately began collecting data by area. The traitors sent detailed reports, photos and geolocation of objects through instant messengers to the phone numbers of Russian mobile operators.

The SBU has collected irrefutable evidence of their criminal collaboration with the enemy.

Currently, the organizers are informed of suspicion under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: Part 3 of Art. 109 (actions aimed at forcibly changing or subverting the constitutional order or usurping state power); Part 2. Art. 111 (high treason); Part 3 Art. 436-2 (justification, recognition as legal, rejection of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine).

One of the members of the group was reported on suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 436-2 (justification, recognition of legality, rejection of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine) of the Criminal Code.

In addition, an accusation against another agent under Part 2 of Art. 111 (high treason) and part 1 of Art. 263 (illegal possession of arms, ammunition or explosives).

Measures for exposing and documenting were carried out by SBU officers together with National Police investigators under the procedural leadership of the Pechersk District Prosecutor’s Office of the city of Kyiv.

Earlier, the SBU detained a Russian, who was transferred by the FSB to Ukraine to collect intelligence near Kramatorsk.
