The Minister of National Defense of Turkey states that the humanitarian situation in Mariupol has recently deteriorated significantly and is complicated by the fact that part of the city is under Russian control.
Turkish Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar said his country has provided ships for the evacuation of people from Mariupol, and positive developments are expected in the coming days on the issue of evacuation of city resident. This was reported by NTV.
“We are constantly in touch with the Ministries of Defense of Russia and Ukraine. We have done and are doing everything necessary for a safe evacuation, including the deployment of ships,” the minister said.

“There are two questions that arise: part of the city is under the control of Russia, and the other part is under the control of Ukraine. As a result, we are trying to achieve everything that needs to be done from a humanitarian perspective, “the minister added.
Earlier it was reported that evacuation buses from Mariupol were not allowed even in Berdyansk.
