He, along with accomplices, threatened civilians with weapons and forced them to strip completely. In the future, people without food and water were kept in the basement, beaten with rifle butts.
An indictment was sent to the court against a serviceman of the joint division of the Rosgvardia department in the Kemerovo region of the armed forces of the Russian Federation on the fact of violating the laws and customs of war. This was reported by the Office of the Attorney General.
The investigation established that in March, during the occupation of Gostomel, the defendant, together with other unknown military forces of the Russian Federation, illegally searched the buildings. Occupants knocked on doors, broke windows and searched servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and law enforcement officers. In one of the houses, they threatened civilians with weapons and forced them to strip completely. After that, people without food and water were kept in the basement, beaten with rifle bullets in the ribs and legs, threatened with weapons, and simulated murder.
The Russian military, carrying out so-called filtering measures, checked documents and confiscated mobile phones from people.
The pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators of the Main Directorate of the SBU in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.
It was earlier reported that SBI officials had reported suspicions to two Russian servicemen who tortured residents of Borodyanka and Makarov.
